The DPI Aperture is available in circles, squares and different shapes.

      APPLICATIONS:
This device is used wherever apertures of different size or shape must be inserted in an optical system. Custom-shaped apertures or a series of apertures (linear or logarithmic) can be drilled in the disc per your specification. Simple design, repeatability and ease of operation make this device extremely versatile. The mounted aperture disc wheel can be easily attached to a precision x-y motion translator.

       TOLERANCE:
Manual wheel rotation, detent location accuracy ensures that each aperture remains on center within ±10 microns.

For beam spot size applications, the wheel may be used as a template for spot size measurement.
It can also be used to limit a beam size to the precise size of the aperture. 
       
The wheel assembly can be used to support specimens for microscope examination. Also, discs can be supplied in light transmissive material for back-lighting applications.
