Quality System

Lenox Laser has incorporated a highly defined quality system that is constantly improving and is based on the needs of our customers.

Such quality directives are as follows...

Lenox Laser will establish, document, and maintain a quality system that complies with all customer requirements.

Inspections and controls will be established during manufacturing to assure conformance of specified tolerances and performances. Minimally, Lenox Laser will follow inspection and sampling procedures specified by the customer's requirements.

Lenox Laser's advanced calibration and measuring devices are calibrated and backed by NIST traceable standards. Such devices include OGP digital gaging equipment and JEOL scanning electron microscopes (SEMs.)

Standard Apertures

Parts are produced from foil with thicknesses of .0005” - .002”. Parts have a looser listed tolerance than Optical and Calibrated Apertures. Apertures are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.


Optical Apertures

Parts are produced from thin foil (.0005”). Parts have a tighter listed tolerance than the Standard Aperture. Apertures are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with NIST traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.


Calibrated Aperture with Certification

Parts are produced from thin foil (.0005”). Parts have a tighter listed tolerance than the Standard Aperture. A certificate of calibration is included. Parts will be labeled with aperture size. Apertures are measured for concentricity, circularity, and diameter. Apertures components are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. Parts are traceable to Lenox Laser standards.

Standard Components

All standard orifice components are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.


Flow Calibrated Components

All flow calibrated components are measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable standards. The component's packaging will be individually labeled with Part Description, Flow Direction, Flow Reading (SCCM, SLPM, TORR), size in microns, and date. Tolerances will be the same as listed. No certification is included.


Flow Calibrated Components with Certification

Any flow Validated component will be supplied with a Certificate of Validation report containing traceable standards used, test conditions, measurement results and inspection signoff.
